Doors Foundation which was committed to supporting training and world wellbeing. In the millennium year, the couple consolidated a few family unit establishments to shape the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. They began by making a commitment of twenty-eight billion dollars to start up the establishment.

Bill Gates resigned from the everyday running of Microsoft in the millennium year, handing over the employment of the Chief Executive Officer of the company to his school companion Steve Ballmer who had been a staff with the Microsoft Corporation since the eighties.
