SUCCESSFUL ENTREPRENEURS ARE OPEN RISK TAKERS

A risk is made up of a kind of danger having either a vulnerability or more one which will lead to having a non-positive impact on either an asset or more by being of harm to them, while risk taking on the other hand describes the act of being willing to take an action on the grounds that there is a possibility of perceived gains or losses. Therefore, an entrepreneur who is classified as an open risk taker can be described as someone who is willing to take an action despite the probability of obtaining a negative result, yet forges ahead with the mindset of acquiring gains instead of losses. Some risks entrepreneurs take include the abandoning of a steady paycheck when starting the business, sacrificing personal capital, betting or gambling crucial deadlines and investing personal time and health.

An example of a notable and successful entrepreneur that was a great risk taker is Donald Trump.

Observing Donald Trump from the external, he always appeared as someone who is on top of the world as a result of the success of The Apprentice (Trump’s TV show), his vast and expansive business empire, not forgetting his fortune running in billions of dollars. However, there used to be a point in his life where he dealt with personal bankruptcy but he was able to totally clear these debts off his name within a remarkable period of just four years. He also reduced immensely the debts that were linked to his business and still even went ahead to create a merge for a number of his business he had interest in, growing all these into a public company. It has however quite evident that when mentioning the names of successful entrepreneurs that understood that risk taking could either be a big gain in business or a big loss, Trump is good example to be motivated by. Speaking of a fact, it is his huge drive to take risks that brought Trump to the level of success he has attained till date. Today, Donald Trump is one of the presidential candidates for the United States in 2016.
